Humble/Kingwood Mustangs2933 Hargraves Rd / Huffman, TX 77336-3457 / (281) 359-3170 Club Information Sheet We are proud to have grown our team from only 3 participants 5 years ago to 14 for 2008. We have athletes from Humble, Kingwood, Huffman, Atascocita, and Madisonville. They range in age from 12 to 34 and at skill levels from “never been on a horse before” to independent trotters. Our goal for this year is to encourage athletes to aspire to greater levels of accomplishment. We will achieve this goal with the help of experienced riders and teachers from The Commons Equestrian Association who are supporting us with their time, horses and financially through a unique raffle of 50 bales of hay! This cooperative effort remains the key to the continued success of our athletes. Our parents provide much needed support and assistance in the care of our horses and participation at competitions. The athlete’s duties include grooming and feeding horses at each practice and tack/un-tack as necessary. They also take turns sweeping the barn and cleaning stalls. We make the experience a total immersion in the care and enjoyment of horses.
